Automotive Repair Assistant Manager

for AAA, you'll support daily shop operations, mentor technicians, and ensure our customers receive top‑notch service through every interaction. Location: 7009 West Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23294. Compensation: $51,287 to $65,448 annually (adjusted based on experience, location, etc.). What Our Assistant Managers Do

Supervise and mentor Repair Technicians; consult with Service Advisors to assign appropriate work based on skill level. Verify all repairs and maintenance are completed accurately and in accordance with manufacturer procedures or industry practices. Coordinate communication between Car Care Center and customers; keep them updated on repair permissions, agreements, estimates, and completion times. Ensure continuous implementation and adherence to all AAA Car Care policies and procedures. Re‑test repaired systems and, if necessary, road test vehicles to validate repair and identify concerns. Accurately complete paperwork, including work orders and state/emission inspection information. Assist in hiring, evaluating, training, and developing Repair Technicians and Service Advisors. Open and close Car Care store and schedule staff appropriately. Perform other duties as assigned. What You Will Need To Succeed

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate Degree in Automotive Technology or ASE Certification a plus). 4 years of experience in the automotive repair industry. Valid driver’s license. Ability to complete a satisfactory Pre‑Employment Screening if offered the position. Benefits
