Position Summary We're seeking an experienced
Foaling Attendant
for the upcoming foaling season. This hands‑on role involves caring for late‑term mares and newborn foals, assisting with deliveries, and working closely with our veterinary team. Veterinary licensure is not required.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with foaling and recognize complications.
Observe and support neonatal health, nursing, and bonding.
Administer basic treatments as directed.
Maintain clean stalls, stocked supplies, and detailed records.
Communicate clearly with vets, techs, and owners.
Qualifications
2+ years of equine handling experience.
Foaled out at least 10 mares per season.
Confident recognizing normal vs. abnormal foaling and foal behavior.
Calm under pressure; able to work independently.
Reliable, detail‑oriented, and a strong communicator.
Schedule & Pay Seasonal ; includes
nights, weekends, and on‑call shifts .
Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
