Good Samaritan is looking for an RN – Part‑Time position in Lawton, ND. The job is located at GSS ND Park River, 301 Co Rd 12B, Park River, ND 58270, USA.
Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. The RN collaborates with residents and families, as well as inter‑disciplinary colleagues, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. The RN demonstrates competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and utilizes appropriate age‑ and population‑specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of resident assessment, education, and other nursing interventions. The RN may serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel, ensuring safe and reliable resident care. All duties are performed within the scopes and standards of nursing practice outlined by the Nurse Practice Act, state administrative rules, and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics.
Qualifications
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (e.g., CCNE, ACEN, NLN‑CNEA). A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred.
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the state board where nursing practice occurs, or possesses multistate licensure in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
Obtains and subsequently maintains all required department‑specific competencies and certifications.
