Job Requirements and Duties
Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's licence with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Possess navigation skills: read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings.
Responsibilities
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Training Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communication Skills
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions and Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; may use a calculator.
Must be able to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders; motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid and accurate movements.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Navigate maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
Navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Physical Requirements
Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, driving.
Tasks include walking between store and delivery vehicle; lifting bulk deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds; carrying pizza trays weighing approximately 12 pounds each; driving to deliver pizzas and promotional materials.
Work Conditions
Weather conditions when delivering or performing outside tasks.
In‑store temperatures ranging from 36° to 90° or higher.
Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and cold surfaces.
Operating in cramped quarters such as walk‑in coolers and hot surfaces or tools from ovens up to 500°.
Advanced Career Path Many team members begin as delivery drivers and progress to management, general manager, franchisee, or corporate operations roles.
