Nurse Supervisor - MG3 Telemetry - Full Time, Days (St. Mary)
St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Nurse Supervisor to join our team. This role is full time and scheduled for day shifts (9.5 hour day shifts).

Description As a Clinical Team Lead, you will be a registered nurse who supports, leads and directs clinical practice, providing assessment, prioritization, and direction of activities to meet changing unit demands. Following the direction of the Nurse Manager, you will assume leadership accountability for fostering established professional practice and care delivery models. You will implement unit‑specific strategies and colleague‑specific practice remediation to achieve clinical quality and patient safety outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
Representative for hospital and nursing administration in dealing with patients, families, visitors, physicians, press, and/or community on designated shift.
Communicates nursing and/or hospital operational problems to the appropriate Administrator.
Acts as a resource for the Access Department to facilitate patient placement according to diagnosis and infection control standards.
Coordinates morgue activities, including interactions with families, physicians, funeral directors, police, district attorney’s office and coroner’s office to facilitate the identification and timely release of deceased persons from the morgue on designated shift.
Responds to Code 99 calls, trauma alerts, and other internal emergent situations, coordinates activities, reassigns staff and provides supplemental staff as necessary.
Communicates educational needs of nursing personnel on designated shift to appropriate Nurse Manager/Director.
Maintains clinical skills and functions as a resource person for the nursing department on designated shift.
Coordinates hospital activities during internal and external disasters until Administrator on call arrives.
Evaluates the need and authorizes overtime, being aware of fiscal constraints.
Reviews daily staffing worksheets, monitors and revises as necessary patient assignments based on patient acuity and nursing skill mix.
Carries out projects and other assignments as required.
