Job Purpose
Our Flexo Assistant will assist Machine Operators in converting corrugated board/sheets into corrugated cartons or inner packing.
Job Responsibilities
Assist Machine Operators and Forklift Operators to obtain all material requirements per factory card, including cutting dies, print plates, ink, and corrugated sheets.
Assist with machine setup per factory card requirements.
Perform minor machine maintenance such as cleanup.
Feed corrugated sheets into machine as required by specific operation.
Hand‑strip product of trim and “angel hair” as needed before palletizing and/or bundling.
Follow all safety rules and regulations, including Safe Operating Procedures and Lock Out/Tag Out Procedures.
Cross‑train with operators and other positions to learn their responsibilities.
Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications
Follow all applicable work instructions and quality procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Work Experience:
1–3 years of related job experience.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
Education:
High School Diploma/GED preferred.
Working Conditions
Regularly working in a non‑climate‑controlled warehouse where exposure to cold, heat, damp or humid conditions may occur.
Exposure to loud noise.
Exposure to dust, mechanical hazards, moving objects, and moving vehicles.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, twist and carry up 50–75 pounds, manipulate up to 160 pounds of product with material handling equipment and skids weighing up to 2,000 pounds using a pallet jack.
Walking/standing throughout the warehouse to complete customer orders; stand when operating order picker or reach truck equipment and when operating a cutter.
Sit only when driving sit‑down material handling equipment.
Lift items weighing a few ounces up to 150 pounds with assistance.
Stooping when filling orders or putting away products assigned to floor level locations; may bend at the waist.
Kneeling when filling orders or putting away products assigned to floor level locations.
