Pay Base pay: $15.00/hr – $15.00/hr
Position Summary An Andretti Barback is a part‑time role responsible for anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations while creating a fun and exciting atmosphere. All positions are responsible for assisting guests in various areas following Andretti Indoor Karting & Games’ high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome visitors by greeting them in a friendly and positive manner.
Deliver food and beverage in a professional manner according to Andretti standards.
Collect, wash, sanitize and restock all glass and barware for repeated bartender use.
Continuously restock bartender serving stations with liquor, ice, fruit, straws and napkins as needed.
Keep all stations sanitary to restaurant and health department standards.
Maintain an organized work area and proactively clean and reset tables.
Properly dispose of broken glassware.
Rotate and restock produce, beer and wine in coolers and liquor rooms.
Ensure that inventory for drinks is full and well‑stocked.
Deliver energetic guest service with a sense of urgency.
Observe, instruct and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence.
Assist with any guest recovery and ensure positive guest experiences.
Maintain knowledge of Andretti brand, products and policies & procedures.
Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with guests and co‑workers.
Be aware and knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
Perform opening, running and closing department duties as assigned.
Prior guest service or hospitality experience is preferred.
Skills & Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
The desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday.
Ability to work a varied schedule, including days, nights, holidays and weekends.
Physical Requirements
Walk or stand for extended periods of time.
Lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular basis.
Perform functions that require organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and occasional stocking up to 50 lbs.
Communicate quickly and accurately.
Work in environments with bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds.
Use and operate all necessary equipment with manual dexterity.
Understand, follow and maintain safety standards at all times.
