Job Summary: We are actively seeking a motivated, self‑driven, and collaborative team member to join our research group. Our research efforts encompass both basic and translational immunology, aimed at addressing fundamental questions regarding T cell development and function including T‑cell communication. Our studies involve the use of samples from healthy individuals as well as patients, and we utilize pre‑clinical experimental animal models. To decipher these complex mechanisms, we intend to employ cutting‑edge technologies including organoids, flow cytometry, transcriptomic single‑cell analyses, and CRISPR/Cas9 approaches.

Responsibilities

Utilize computational tools to analyze and interpret experimental results and data generated within the lab.

Participate in project planning, take the lead on 1–2 projects, collaborating with the team to develop research protocols and strategies, ensuring adherence to accepted scientific principles and compliance with relevant federal guidelines.

Coordinate and participate in research of scientific literature; summarize and evaluate findings; develop derivative applications of techniques developed by own research activities or reported by other research projects.

Present findings at scientific meetings locally, nationally, and internationally.

Compose articles for publication in scientific journals, collaborating with team members to review and refine manuscripts, ensuring accuracy and clarity in presenting project findings.

Supervise and coordinate activities of students, graduate assistants and other research personnel engaged in research activities and/or related laboratory work, fostering a collaborative and inclusive research environment.

Advise principal investigator, other postdocs, students and other research personnel on research techniques, procedures, and other technological aspects of research activities.

Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. and/or M.D. from an accredited college or university.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases or willingness to learn.

Detail‑oriented with strong prioritization, organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Ability to complete work and meet deadlines.

Willingness and ability to work with research animals.

Ability to work independently with only general supervision.

Shift / Salary / Benefits

Shift: Days; Monday–Friday (work outside of normal business hours may be required).

Salary: to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum‑midpoint) of the position. Recruitment period: until filled.
