Position Summary This role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per‑shift basis at the unit level. The role is responsible for supervising staff to whom appropriate care is delegated and is accountable to support the CNO in ensuring high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care. The incumbent must possess effective interpersonal and communication skills and serve as a role model and advocate for the nursing profession.
Qualifications
Education:
Required: Graduated from a state‑approved school of nursing or an accredited school. Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (bachelor’s or master’s degree).
Certifications:
Required: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice as required by law and regulation in the state of practice; CPR.
