12-Hour Nights, Weekends as Scheduled Estimated Travel Package: Hourly Rate: $29.58 Weekly Stipend: $1162.00 ($413.00 Weekly Meal + $749.00 Weekly Lodging) Gross Weekly Pay: $2226.88 Facility Information: Join our dynamic healthcare team in Princeton, WV, where patient care is our top priority. We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses for our Med Surg unit. Job Requirements: Current CPR certification required for all direct care givers ACLS preferred for RNs Telemetry and EKG experience preferred Experience in the care of orthopedic patients for 3 South Ability to titrate drips (Cardizem, Heparin, sometimes Insulin, occasional Levophed) Charge Nurse and House Supervisor available on all shifts Nurse aids on the unit with a ratio of 2 on day shift and 1 on 3 South Experience with RT equipment (Cpap, Bipap, occasional acute vent) Ability to read telemetry strips Familiarity with Meditech Expanse charting system Patient Population and Diagnoses: Hip/knee replacements Fractures Diabetes COPD CHF Renal disease General surgical patients Shifts & Scheduling: 12-hour shifts (7am to 7pm & 7pm to 7am) Weekend requirement: Every other weekend Orientation and Training: 3-day orientation Remainder on the unit Unit/department-specific orientation Floating Requirements: Staff must float to other med surg units to take a full assignment Floating to ER and critical care for task only
