A K-12 educational institution in Peyton, CO is seeking a skilled Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services for students spanning kindergarten through 12th grade. This position is a contract role for the current school year.
Key Qualifications And Skills
Certification as a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid license
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech‑Language Pathology
Experience working in school-based settings preferred
Proficient in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders among children and adolescents
Primary Responsibilities
Conduct individualized assessments to identify student needs
Develop and implement evidence‑based treatment plans tailored to each student
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports in compliance with school policies
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) sessions
Promote communication skills that enhance student academic achievement and social interaction
