Job Title: Phlebotomist II

Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist with experience in drawing blood from a diverse range of patients. The ideal candidate must be proficient with various needle gauges, particularly the 21 gauge, and possess exceptional customer service skills. This position requires working in a high-volume Patient Service Center (PSC).

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and blood draws on patients using 21, 22, 23, and 25 gauge needles.

Ensure proper specimen collection and processing following established protocols.

Maintain a high level of customer service to enhance patient experience.

Work efficiently in a high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in phlebotomy and venipuncture techniques.

Experience in a hospital setting with a minimum of 2 years.

Strong customer service skills.

Ability to work in a high‑pressure environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with lab diagnostics and specimen processing.

Experience with patient service centers.

Knowledge of medical and diagnostic procedures.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Asheville, NC.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
