Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team in the United States. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting daily accounting operations to ensure accuracy and compliance with U.S. accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain general ledger entries
Record daily financial transactions (AP/AR, payroll, expenses)
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts
Prepare financial reports and summaries for management
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
Support audits and tax preparation when required
Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1-3 years of accounting experience (public or private)
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
High attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and time-management skills
Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
Experience with financial reporting and budgeting
Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance
