Job Overview Here at Fairview, we are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team at Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming, MN. This is a .75 FTE (60 hours per 2 weeks) position with a possible on‑call rotation (subject to change).

Schedule (fortnightly cycle):

Week 1–2: Monday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Tuesday 9:30 AM–6:00 PM, Thursday 9:30 AM–6:00 PM, Friday 9:30 AM–6:00 PM

Week 3: Monday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Thursday 9:30 AM–6:00 PM, Friday 9:30 AM–6:00 PM

Week 4: Monday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Tuesday 9:30 AM–6:00 PM, Thursday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Friday 9:30 AM–6:00 PM

Note:

We are open to expanding the schedule to .8 FTE (64 hours per 2 weeks) if desired.

The hospital radiologic technologist provides diagnostic imaging services in a hospital setting, supporting all imaging procedures, surgical cases, fluoroscopy studies, portable x‑ray, and general x‑ray. The role includes opening supplies and equipment for surgery, responding to codes, trauma activations, and other emergent imaging needs in an acute care environment.

Responsibilities

Perform examinations and correctly position patients to achieve quality diagnostic images.

Identify relevant data from images accurately and communicate it clearly to healthcare professionals.

Communicate with and educate patients regarding pertinent information during all aspects of the exam.

Demonstrate knowledge of emergency preparedness.

Verify patient identification and documentation.

Accurately complete computer functions—editing, scheduling, billing, status changes, and image transfers—in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications

Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.

ARRT certification/registration.

Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or Red Cross) before date of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

B.S. or B.A. degree.

Three years of experience as a technologist in a hospital setting.

Advanced imaging modality certification.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
