Job Description We are the makers of possible. BD requires a dedicated associate to support manufacturing operations, ensuring products meet quality and compliance standards. You will work in a clean-room environment, operate manufacturing equipment, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities
Work as part of a team for maximum effectiveness and optimal task methods, including product inspection, operating equipment, raw material and finished goods movements, and clean-room area and equipment cleaning/sanitizing.
Perform visual inspections and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
Handle changeovers, line clearance, and cleaning.
Achieve production rate and quality goals on assigned equipment.
Facilitate continuous operation of the equipment during breaks.
Perform rework and participate as needed on blitz teams.
Cross‑train within the department to support business needs.
Maintain all quality and GMP standards.
Perform SAP data entries and use of 10x microscopes, calipers, and other gauges as required.
Experience & Background
High School diploma or GED preferred.
In lieu of a high school diploma or GED, two years of manufacturing experience is required.
Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience with MES preferred.
Experience with precision measuring instruments preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Work effectively alone or in a team (Proficient).
Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work area (Proficient).
Willingness and ability to train others (Proficient).
Strong teamwork skills (Proficient).
Organization skills, detail-oriented (Basic).
Additional Information PCP Level 3. Remote or field‑based positions may have different workplace arrangements. Employment is contingent upon proof of full COVID‑19 vaccination in applicable locations.
