Missiles and Fire Control in Orlando, Florida has multiple openings for Test Engineers across all ranges of experience. Our team is responsible for designing, integrating, and ensuring the seamless operation of test systems, and you will play a key role in providing technical support, test equipment improvements, and troubleshooting expertise.
What You Will Be Doing As the ATE Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing test consoles, interface test adapters (ITAs), test cables, and test fixtures. You will be architecting software and writing source code. You will be hands‑on integrating the test system hardware, software, and device under test (DUT), then performing verification and validation of the test system. You will work with a range of technologies, including TestStand®, LabVIEW®, MATLAB, and C# to control signal generation and measurement tools, conduct Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), and functional testing.
Designing, upgrading, and supporting test equipment hardware and software as needed
Analyzing failures associated with test equipment and providing recommended solutions
Troubleshooting and resolving test system complex issues
Collaborating with production teams to maintain test equipment uptime and support troubleshooting

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related and 3+ years of professional experience
Experience designing or supporting Automated Test Equipment (ATE) hardware
Experience writing or supporting Automated Test Equipment (ATE) software
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Desired Skills
Proficient with National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand
Experience with Verification and Validation of test equipment for DoD products

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
