All Lift Service Company is a full-service material handling dealership covering Northeast Ohio with sales, service, parts, and rentals of industrial equipment. We also handle the sales and service of warehouse products from racking, shelving to dock and door. We are currently seeking an Engine Rebuilder who is eager to grow their career and become a valued member of our team.
Key Responsibilities
Disassemble engines and components for inspection and rebuild
Inspect engine parts for wear, damage, or defects using precision measuring tools
Clean, repair, or replace engine components including pistons, bearings, crankshafts, camshafts, cylinder heads, and valves
Perform machining-related prep work (measuring tolerances, fitting components, coordinating with machine shop as needed)
Reassemble engines according to OEM or rebuild specifications
Test rebuilt engines for performance, leaks, and proper operation
Diagnose engine failures and determine root cause
Maintain accurate rebuild documentation and work orders
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Communicate issues, timelines, and parts needs with supervisors or service advisors
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience rebuilding gasoline and/or diesel engines
Strong understanding of internal combustion engine systems
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and specifications
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment (micrometers, bore gauges, calipers)
Mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
