Responsibilities

Manage and support an assigned portfolio of existing customers across industrial markets

Maintain regular customer contact through site visits, meetings, and calls

Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within current accounts

Coordinate with engineering, operations, and inside sales to support engineered-to-order projects

Assist with quotations, technical requirements, and order follow-up

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Outside Sales Specialist.

The Outside Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving business growth through lead generation, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and prospecting new opportunities.

Key responsibilities include ensuring excellent customer service to existing clients, providing product training, managing accounts, and collaborating with internal teams to meet client needs.

The individual will also represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and trade shows as part of the sales efforts.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Account Management to build and sustain long-term client relationships

3–7 years of outside sales or account management experience in industrial or engineered products

Experience with valves, flow control, or custom-engineered equipment preferred

Industry knowledge in hydrocarbon, power generation, mining, aerospace, or maritime markets is an advantage

Strong relationship management and communication skills

Ability to understand technical specifications and drawings

Willingness to travel

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred

Seniority level Mid-Senior level
