Join our dynamic team in the construction industry as a highly skilled Fiber Splicer. You will play a vital role in the successful delivery of our telecommunications projects, ensuring the highest level of performance and reliability for fiber optic infrastructure.
Base Pay Range $25.00/hr - $38.00/hr

Responsibilities
Perform fiber splicing operations, including fusion splicing, mechanical splicing, connectorization, and testing.
Maintain and troubleshoot fiber optic network, OTE, and optical line terminal (OLT).
Operate fiber muxes and fiber optic multiplexer to ensure optimal network performance.
Install, repair, and maintain fiber optic cables, both underground and aerial.
Read, interpret, and update fiber optic network schematics and documentation.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of fiber optic systems.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure project completion.
Adhere to all safety standards and regulations.
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.
Participate in on-call rotation for emergency repairs and maintenance.
Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a fiber splicer in the telecommunications or construction industry.
Proficient knowledge of fiber optic network, OTE, OLT, and fiber muxes.
Experience with fiber optic multiplexer and related equipment.
Strong understanding of fiber optic theory, transmission principles, and safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret fiber optic network schematics and documentation.
Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions.
Willingness to participate in on‑call rotation for emergency repairs and maintenance.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
