Overview PG&E is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support operational excellence and cross‑functional initiatives within the organization. This role is responsible for driving program execution, ensuring alignment with KPIs and deliverables, and implementing Lean and Agile methodologies to improve processes across multiple teams. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, strategic thinker, and hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
Required Skills & Experience
4+ years of Program Management experience
Ability to define project scope, objectives, and execution plans
Strong understanding of Lean and Agile methodologies, including change management principles
Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders
Experience developing communication plans and structured messaging
Analytics background with proficiency in Excel and/or Power BI
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with financial analytics, including data modeling, chart creation, and number‑driven insights
PMP certification
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Key Responsibilities Program Oversight
Manage multiple programs simultaneously, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget
Serve as the escalation point for delivery issues, risks, and stakeholder concerns
Ensure program milestones and KPIs are met across all workstreams
Lean & Process Improvement
Implement Lean methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, and A3 Problem Solving
Identify workflow inefficiencies and develop corrective actions and countermeasures
Lead continuous improvement initiatives through workshops, coaching, and training sessions
Governance & Reporting
Develop and maintain KPIs, SLAs, dashboards, and performance metrics
Prepare and deliver executive‑level reports on financial performance, compliance, and operational health
Ensure consistent documentation, tracking, and governance across all programs
Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment and buy‑in for program initiatives
Facilitate communication strategies and change management efforts across departments
Build strong relationships with internal teams, leadership, and operational partners
What We’re Looking For A proactive, organized, and analytical Program Manager who can drive clarity, structure, and execution across complex initiatives. Someone who is comfortable influencing without authority, navigating ambiguity, and championing continuous improvement across the organization.
