POSITION SUMMARY The insurance Lead at Borland Groover is responsible for assisting the Insurance team to ensure services provided are reimbursed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Training team members
Monthly performance audits
Delegate task and set deadlines
Monitor team performance and report metrics
Listen to team members' feedback and resolve any issues
deposits
Build and send electronic files
Manage the day-to-day operations in the business office
This job requires access to Personal Health Information (PHI), HIPPA training is required, and HIPPA compliance is expected
Must follow the organization's Code of Conduct
Must participate in the Compliance Program Initiatives and reporting and Compliance Issues
Other duties assigned
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of general principles of insurance collections
Ability to work as a team member
Ability to toggle multiple tasks
Ability to toggle multiple tasks
Ability to communicate effectively with insurance companies, patients, and others
Ability to obtain information and accurately enter it into the computer
Pleasant personality
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in Insurance Collections preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of general principles of insurance collections
Ability to work as a team member
Ability to toggle multiple tasks
Ability to communicate effectively with insurance companies, patients, and others
Ability to obtain information ad accurately enter it into the computer
