Pharmacy Procurement Specialist
Westfields Hospital & Clinic is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Procurement Specialist to oversee drug purchasing and inventory for our hospital, retail pharmacies, and partner sites. The role supports clinical teams by ensuring timely access to medications and enhances pharmacy technology and workflow. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate drug purchasing, inventory management, and procurement for all Westfields hospital and retail pharmacy locations. Work collaboratively with pharmacists, technicians, and clinical staff to support pharmacy technology solutions, including dispensing machines and pharmacy management software. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for procurement activity and inventory status. Support pharmacy team in technology-related projects, including software upgrades, training, and system troubleshooting. Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve patient care. Required Qualifications
State of WI registered Pharmacy Technician license. Certified by a national board. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High precision and accuracy required in all tasks. Ability to work independently and with a high degree of precision. Experience with Microsoft Suite and pharmacy related applications such as Epic. At least 3 years as a pharmacy technician (hospital or retail, preferably both). Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a technician in a hospital or retail pharmacy. Graduate of an approved Pharmacy Technician program and National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) strongly preferred. Work Schedule
36 hours weekly /.9 FTE; 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. Benefits
