About Fusion Academy Fusion Academy follows a one‑to‑one, personalized teaching model for middle and high school students. Campuses are small, enrolling 50‑75 students, and the culture values diversity, inclusiveness, and individualized learning.

Your Days Will Look Like:

Creating a student‑centered, supportive classroom that promotes compassion and tolerance, emotional security, resourcefulness, and independent critical thinking.

Addressing each student’s academic and emotional needs through a differentiated approach.

Teaching one‑to‑one in English Composition, Literature, Language Arts, World and U.S. History, Government, and Economics for grades 6‑12.

Listening to students, peers, and managers to develop and support meaningful learning journeys.

Adapting differentiated instruction for all students while fostering holistic growth.

Integrating academic and social‑emotional objectives into engaging lessons.

Building trust with students, peers, and campus leadership.

Mentoring students to become lifelong learners and leaders.

Maintaining accurate records of student progress.

Creating a schedule that works best for you and your students.

Practicing professionalism through ongoing development, reflection, and continuous improvement.

Contributing to and benefiting from the campus community.

What You Will Bring to Fusion:

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, with background in English and History.

A collaborative and exploratory approach to learning.

Great to Have but Not Required:

A teaching certification.

Previous teaching or relevant tutoring experience.

Experience with students with learning differences and ADHD, and mentoring experience.

Pay: $28.50 (note: pay may vary based on location, skills, and experience).
