Behavior Technician (Childcare Experience Needed)
Join Autism Learning Partners as a Behavior Technician. No certification required—just 6+ months of paid or volunteer experience working with children (babysitting, tutoring, camp counseling, church/youth groups, etc.). You will support children and teens with autism, building a fulfilling career while making a positive impact every day.
Schedule & Pay Hours: Monday—Friday 8 am – 6 pm. Work setting: primarily in client homes, with occasional sessions at local centers. Daily pay access available. Compensation: $21.50–$27 /hr. Additional $0.50 /hr upon completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
What You’ll Need
High School Diploma or GED
6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer)
Reliable car, driver’s license, and insurance
Willingness to pass background and health checks
Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
Successful completion of mandatory training: New Hire Orientation, 40 hrs of RBT training, Skills Practice, CPR, CPI, and exam to become RBT
A big heart, patience, and the ability to keep up with energetic kiddos
What You’ll Do
Teach children new skills through play (communication, sharing, following directions).
Encourage progress and celebrate small victories.
Engage actively in sessions.
Track session data and keep records organized.
Support families and contribute to a team that demonstrates real progress.
