The role: Service Sales Representative – Orlando, FL
Base Salary: $75,000 + Commission
We are a well-established commercial roofing contractor providing a full range of services including new construction, re-roofing, leak repairs, preventative maintenance programs, inspections, and 24/7 emergency service for commercial and industrial clients.
We are currently seeking an experienced
Commercial Roofing Service Sales Representative
to support and grow our
Orlando
market. This role is focused on selling
preventative maintenance agreements, service work, and repair programs
to commercial and industrial building owners, property managers, and facility directors.
This role requires proven experience in commercial roofing sales.
Candidates without direct commercial roofing sales experience will not be considered.
Position Summary The Service Sales Representative is responsible for developing and managing a book of business centered around recurring service contracts and long-term client relationships. You will generate and manage your own leads, conduct site visits, prepare proposals, and work closely with operations to ensure successful project delivery.
This is a relationship-driven, consultative sales role. Most sales are not one-call closes and typically involve multiple meetings over an extended sales cycle.
You will report directly to the Service Manager and manage the service projects you sell.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect new commercial and industrial accounts through cold calling, site visits, networking, referrals, and email outreach
Follow up on marketing campaigns and inbound leads
Schedule and conduct meetings with decision makers including property managers, facility managers, and building owners
Perform roof walk-throughs and inspections to identify service and maintenance opportunities
Build long-term relationships through consultative selling
Develop customized service and maintenance solutions based on client needs
Prepare proposals, reports, and service agreements
Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in the CRM
Coordinate with operations and service management to close and deliver work
Manage customer relationships after the sale to drive retention and referrals
Maintain an active presence in the Orlando commercial market
Required Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of commercial roofing sales experience (REQUIRED)
Proven track record selling service, repair, and/or maintenance programs in a B2B environment
Strong ability to prospect, qualify, and close long-cycle commercial opportunities
Experience working with property managers, building owners, and facilities teams
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
High level of integrity and customer focus
Experience using CRM and Microsoft Office tools
Ability to perform roof inspections and climb ladders as needed
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Ability to work in the field up to 80% of the time throughout the Orlando area
Compensation & Benefits
$75,000 base salary + commission
