Automotive Mechatronics Technician – Commercial Vehicles (m/f/d) (German level B1 or higher)
Permanent employee, Full-time – Garching
Job Description
Maintain, repair, and service vehicles across the fleet
Perform mechanical and electrical modifications and retrofits
Diagnose issues in electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Inspect chassis and body components
Conduct inspections and prepare vehicles for TÜV/technical checks
Ensure complete and accurate vehicle documentation
Stand in for the workshop manager when needed
Qualifications
Completed vocational training as an automotive mechatronics technician, automotive mechanic, or automotive electrician specializing in commercial vehicles, or as an agricultural/construction machinery mechatronics technician (m/f/d); comparable qualifications welcome
Ideally, some professional experience in a similar role
Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
Experience with truck chassis and body types a plus
Basic knowledge of vehicle diagnostics software
Manual dexterity, physical resilience, and hands‑on skills
Team player with motivation and initiative
Driver’s license class B; CE is an advantage
German language skills (minimum level: B1) mandatory
