Salary Range: $57,320 - $67,435
FLSA Status: Exempt
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Summary
The Supervisor, Materials Management oversees and manages all receiving and delivery operations at Baylor College of Medicine, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely handling of incoming and outgoing materials. This position is also responsible for optimizing workflows, maintaining compliance with institutional policies, and leading a team to deliver exceptional service across campus. Job Duties
Handles and maintains flow of materials and products according to established guidelines. Supervises all logistics associated with Receiving and Delivering products and shipments. Ensures staff follows receiving guidelines and procedures. Maintains carrier account invoices and resolves payment disputes. Recommends processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Tracks and documents the logistics of material using computer software and scanners. Provides assistance to internal and external customers. Provides assistance and supervises materials management employees. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or GED. Four years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications
Experience supervising large-scale loading/unloading dock operations and staff at multiple locations within the Texas Medical Center. Experience shipping, receiving, storing, and delivering perishable items, research animals, and other potentially infections materials (OPIM).
