What do our Termite Technicians do? Termite Technicians use their expertise to protect customer properties from wood‑destroying organisms. As the first line of defense, you will conduct inspections, prevention, and treatment services that give customers peace of mind and comfort.
Responsibilities
Identify customers’ termite problems and use knowledge of termite behaviors to determine remedial steps
Perform termite treatment services safely and in accordance with company guidelines and standard practices
Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions
Communicate critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity to customers and discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may supplement the treatment process
Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order
Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment
Complete production forms documenting services provided
Interact with customers and explain the services performed
Essential Job Functions
Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations
Prepare the job site for treatment
Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders
Be comfortable working 20 feet up on a ladder and in small confined spaces
General labor, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is a plus
Ability to work on roofs and high areas
Regularly sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator, and be comfortable working in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways
What do you need?
Clean shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers must seal properly)
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license from your state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided)
At least 1 year of customer service experience; termite control experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Flexible with working hours, Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed
Required licenses/certificates as mandated by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)
Basic math skills for mixing on product labels
