Journeyman Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician
Position Summary
We are looking for a hands‑on Laboratory Technician to support HVAC system and motor testing in our application laboratory. The role includes HVAC test operations, motor teardown, data reporting, equipment management, and logistics support.
Key Responsibilities
Install, operate, and test HVAC units (Airflow tests on hooks platform, Motor Dynamometer, Psychrometric chamber tests).
Perform motor teardown, failure analysis, dynamometer testing, and electrical parameter measurements.
Collect, organize, and report test data using Excel/PowerPoint.
Maintain lab equipment, manage inventory, and coordinate facility upkeep.
Handle logistics for domestic and international shipments (U.S.–China).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
3+ years of HVAC experience in the U.S.
Familiar with HVAC test equipment and standards and basic electrical measurements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong teamwork and communication skills.
