Job Duties The Paralegal will provide complex legal support to attorneys, managing caseloads, drafting documents, coordinating discovery processes, and supervising junior paralegals.
Key Responsibilities
Document Drafting and Review
– Draft and review discovery requests/responses and other filings, ensuring accuracy.
Case Management
– Organize case files, track deadlines, and coordinate with clients and parties.
Discovery Support
– Lead discovery, gather documents, review and analyze them, and prepare draft responses.
Research
– Conduct basic online research to support attorney case strategies.
Client Communication
– Update clients on case progress, address concerns, and gather information.
Team Leadership
– Mentor and train junior paralegals on procedures and best practices.
Project Management
– Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and create new organizational systems.
Qualifications
3+ years of paralegal experience
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) and legal software (LexisNexis, Litify, etc.)
