The Opportunity We’re hiring an experienced Paralegal to play a key role supporting our attorneys throughout all stages of commercial litigation. This is a remote, full-time position that includes occasional in-person responsibilities in the New York City area, such as court filings or document deliveries.
In this role, you will handle legal research, drafting, discovery, case management, and trial preparation under attorney direction. You will help ensure cases move forward smoothly while delivering excellent service to our clients.
What You'll Do
Organize, sort, and summarize case information and files to support efficient case management
Draft letters, reports, and initial versions of legal documents for attorney review
Prepare legal materials for meetings, depositions, hearings, and trials
Draft and prepare discovery requests and responses
Manage the administrative aspects of cases, maintaining accurate client records in the case management system
Assist with electronic and physical filings in both state and federal courts, ensuring all deadlines are met
Track and maintain court deadlines and case milestones on the firm’s master calendar
Review upcoming daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines and tasks to prioritize workload effectively
Triage client communications and follow up via phone and email as needed
Accurately and contemporaneously record billable time in the case management system
Who You Are
Minimum of 7 years of paralegal experience required
Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial litigation required; contract drafting experience is a plus
Skilled at drafting clear, professional, and accurate legal documents
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Proficient with case management systems and technology tools
Able to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines and expectations
Reliable and responsive, with a commitment to excellent client service

Compensation & Benefits
Total compensation target range: $90,000 – $115,000+ annually (plus bonus incentives, commensurate with experience and performance)
