What You’ll Do
Ensure carpet is cut at the proper length.
Make sure all defects are cut out.
Help wrap rolls for shipment and handle oven detail as needed.
Assist in keeping work areas clean and orderly.
Attend any job‑related training as required.
Follow all standard operating procedures.
Perform general housekeeping duties.
Perform other tasks assigned by management.
What You Have
High school diploma or GED preferred.
No prior experience required.
What You’re Good At
Problem solving ability is required.
Interpersonal, manual dexterity, mechanical, math and judgment skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.
Must be able to motivate and work well with others.
Other Requirements
Frequently required to reach, handle, stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb and balance.
Frequently required to look at the carpet for cutting roll size.
Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds continuously throughout an 8‑12 hour shift.
Must be able to work 8‑12 hour shifts either day or night, weekdays or weekends as scheduled.
