Job Overview
Injection Molding Machine Operator – 1st Shift. Starting wage $17.25 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, paid holidays, earned time off, vacation, and on‑site medical and chiropractic clinic. Responsibilities
Learn and apply quality and production standards. Must be able to learn and run all IMOD jobs, parts, machines, secondary and processes. Keep up with established press rates. Ensure customer quality expectations by following job‑specific responsibilities. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements
High School Education and/or GED preferred. Basic computer skills. Effective oral and written communication skills. Read and write, perform basic math and follow instructions; use reading and writing, adding and subtracting of whole numbers; following of instructions; use of fixed gauges, direct reading of instruments and similar devices where interpretation is not required. Quality and quantity performance standards under normal supervision should be attained from three to twelve months. Six month manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Continuously lifting or moving material of light weight (up to 10 lbs). Occasional lifting or moving average weight material (between 25 lbs to 60 lbs). Use of plastic processing hand tools, cutters, knives, calipers, guards, fixtures and calculator.
