Maintenance Technician/Mechanic (Full Time)
We are hiring immediately for a full‑time Maintenance Technician/Mechanic position at ESFM® USA.
Location: Mondelez – Route 10, Whippany, New Jersey 07981. Online applications accepted only.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, full‑time; hours may vary. More details upon interview.
Requirement: Prior manufacturing maintenance experience is preferred. Willing to train.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain, repair, clean, and operate the plant, shops, mechanical areas, exterior grounds, and campus facilities.
Perform tasks such as minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, minor electrical work, lamp changing and drywall maintenance.
Respond to emergency problems and perform emergency repairs.
Maintain logs, perform rounds, complete maintenance work orders, tests, and inspections.
Read, comprehend, and transmit detailed instructions verbally and in writing.
Qualifications
Industrial manufacturing and industrial equipment knowledge; blueprints and schematics experience preferred.
HVAC experience and EPA certification preferred.
Experience with systems asset management of heating, air conditioning, ventilation equipment (boilers, chillers, pumps, motors, air handlers, fan coils, VAVs, controls, piping, etc.).
Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds and perform strenuous labor for extended periods.
