Job Description

Material Handling Operator

Rate:
$18.00/Hour
Job Duties / Responsibilities
Accept incoming goods and compare them with shipping documents (material number, description, quantity).
Inspect incoming goods for visible damage and document findings.
Ensure correct use of transport equipment (hand-guided industrial trucks, sit-down forklift, etc.).
Capture relevant data in SAP EWM and other data processing systems.
Arrange acceptance, storage, picking, and removal of goods in the storage area and record movements in the system.
Perform regular stock maintenance and inventory activities.
Assemble deliveries from storage locations and verify completeness and accuracy against delivery notes.
Package orders in accordance with shipping instructions, dispatch methods, packaging types, and dangerous goods requirements.
Attach appropriate shipping documents to outgoing goods.
Carry out internal and, if applicable, external transport using appropriate equipment.
Solve unexpected issues by applying appropriate procedures and routines.
Provide service support in a defined technical/administrative area following established processes and guidelines.
Handle routine and non-complex inquiries from internal or external customers.
Qualifications / Skills / Experience Required
SAP experience with
EWM processes .
Sit-down forklift
operating experience.
SharePoint and Excel experience is a
plus .
Completion of
3-year vocational training .
3 years of practical experience
in a related field.
Basic theoretical and practical knowledge in relevant processes, procedures, and systems.
Ability to operate specialized standard software packages.
