Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Maintenance Technician, you'll keep our patient rooms and all areas of the hospital clean and sanitized. This protects everyone from potential illness or injury due to infectious diseases or other hazards.
Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, or dusting.
Use specialized equipment and techniques to further sanitize our facility.
Learn and adhere to proper disposal techniques for biohazard materials, including bodily fluids or sharp objects.
Refill soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, and other supplies, and deliver clean linens.
Implement and update maintenance policies and procedures.
Conduct inspections of facilities and fulfill punch list items before occupancy.
Inspect, monitor, and evaluate equipment and furnishings, and recommend replacements.
Manage preventative maintenance programs and documentation, including minor electrical repairs, light bulb replacement, monitor linen chute, compactor and dumpster, plumbing repairs, and touch-up painting.
Assist Housekeeping with heavy equipment such as buffers and polishers, and perform annual cleaning of facility.
Maintain grounds and gardens.
Qualifications3>
2 years experience in a similar position.
Driver's License: CA, upon hire.
