Hotel Front Office Manager
– Turning Stone Enterprises
The Crescent is the newest luxury hotel joining the award‑winning Turning Stone Enterprises resort in Verona, NY. Opening in 2026, it will feature over 250 guest rooms and suites, upscale dining at Salt Seafood & Raw Bar, and direct access to the Grand Expo convention center. As part of a high‑volume resort destination, The Crescent offers hospitality leaders the opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences at scale and grow their careers within one of New York’s most dynamic resort operations.
Salary Salary Range:
$68,365 to $87,165 annually
Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day leadership and operational efficiency of the front desk.
Staffing, scheduling, and training.
Systems functionality, inventory management, and adherence to all policies and procedures.
Key point of leadership in the absence of the Director.
Collaborate with internal hotel departments, Casino Marketing, and Sales teams for accurate forecasting, room pricing, and exceptional guest experiences.
Maintain front desk material supplies and order when needed.
Ensure all systems (P.M.S., electronic keys, movie system, telephone system) are operational.
Interact with guests – answer questions, solve problems, and handle complaints.
Coordinate with other hotel functions (PBX/Reservations, Housekeeping, Front Service, Guest Services) to ensure seamless operation.
Maintain responsibility for hotel room inventory; manage room blocks, forecast, and pricing under the Director’s direction.
Work closely with Casino Marketing, Hotel Sales, and Group Sales to meet departmental needs.
Supervise and communicate daily with the Assistant Front Desk Manager and Front Desk Supervisors.
Maintain and train on the property management system.
Demonstrate complete understanding of record‑keeping and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
At least a 2‑year college degree.
Experience in a leadership role.
Hotel front‑desk experience required.
Typing speed of at least 40 wpm.
Proficient computer skills.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Physical ability to stand/walk long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
