Large Loss Project Manager
Location: Lanham, MD (DC Metro)
Compensation: $80,000–$90,000 Base | $175,000 OTE (Flexible Pay Structure)

Role Overview Our client is seeking a seasoned Large Loss Project Manager to lead complex commercial and large-loss reconstruction projects throughout the DC market. This role is designed for an experienced professional who can confidently manage high-dollar, high-complexity rebuilds following major loss events.
The Large Loss Project Manager will oversee commercial and large-loss reconstruction projects, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal leadership. This role offers significant earning potential through performance-based bonuses and provides a clear path to a Reconstruction General Manager role.
Key Responsibilities
Manage large-loss and commercial reconstruction projects from start to finish
Lead rebuild efforts following major loss incidents
Develop and manage detailed scopes, schedules, and budgets
Coordinate subcontractors and vendors across multiple trades
Serve as the primary client-facing representative on large projects
Maintain project organization, documentation, and timelines
Collaborate closely with the Market VP on market growth initiatives
Contribute to operational improvements and team development
Desired Experience & Skills
4–8 years of experience in restoration and large-loss reconstruction
Proven experience managing complex, high-dollar rebuild projects
Strong commercial reconstruction background preferred
Excellent client-facing communication and relationship management skills
Highly organized and schedule-driven
Curious, entrepreneurial mindset with interest in business growth
Demonstrated leadership potential
Growth & Advancement
Clear path to Reconstruction General Manager within the first year (most likely from this role)
GM role will serve as the right hand to the Market Vice President
Opportunity to help build and scale the DC market from the ground up
Significant long-term earning and leadership upside
