Blood Collection Technician I - KSM Mobile
Location: Blood Bank of Delmarva, Dover, DE.
Join our Mobile Blood Drive Team and provide excellent customer service to donors. This role offers a work‑life balance, a 3‑step career ladder, and no prior medical experience required—training is provided.
Shift Schedule: Morning, Evening, and Weekend shifts are required. Schedule released 2 weeks in advance.
Career ladder: 3‑step progression until advanced blood‑collection procedures are mastered.
Essential during severe weather or emergency operations.
Conduct donor interviews in a confidential, professional manner to determine eligibility per BBD standards.
Initiate whole blood collection/phlebotomy procedures and monitor donor progress per BBD guidelines.
Prepare for interviews and blood collection by ensuring all materials and equipment are set up and operable according to Quality Control standards.

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years face‑to‑face customer service experience.
Minimum 1 year successfully managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Salary & Benefits + $1.50/hr differential on weekends. Monthly bonuses based on performance. Full benefits. Sign‑on bonus of $2,500 paid in 3 installments over the first year.
