Kforce Inc is recruiting a Semiconductor Wafer Technician for a Night Shift role in Chandler, AZ. The position is part of the Fab Operations team, working with advanced semiconductor products.
Base pay range $25.00/yr - $30.00/yr
Responsibilities
Verify lot and tool status with accuracy and attention to detail.
Run qualifications on production equipment and analyze data using statistical tools to confirm quality standards.
Operate production tools and troubleshoot out‑of‑control conditions, implementing OCAP and recipe adjustments per engineering instructions.
Perform preventive maintenance, including standard consumable changes, and resolve minor hardware/software issues.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for tools and processes within the manufacturing environment.
Maintain strict safety standards when working around sensitive equipment and hazardous chemicals.
Physical requirements: standing, walking, manual dexterity, visual acuity; occasional lifting up to 25 lb, maintenance tasks may require lifting up to 75 lb.
Requirements
Associate degree in Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
3‑5 years of experience as an engineering technician in the semiconductor industry.
Familiarity with AMAT Centura 5200/5500, Producer, Mirra Mesa platforms, Gasonics Ashers, Semi-Tool electroplating, AVP Diffusion, SEZ Cleans, and KLA Metrology equipment is a plus.
Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
Comfortable with extended periods on your feet and moving between multiple bays in the factory.
The pay range listed is the range Kforce reasonably expects to pay for the role at posting. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
