Position Summary – Cable Dahmer CDJR Cable Dahmer CDJR is looking for an experienced, process‑driven Service Manager to lead our fast‑paced fixed operations team. The ideal leader is someone who develops people, builds trust with customers, and keeps operations running smoothly and profitably. This role oversees the full service department and plays a key part in delivering the exceptional experience Cable Dahmer is known for.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop advisors, technicians, and support staff to achieve goals in efficiency, profitability, and CSI performance.

Oversee day‑to‑day operations specific to CDJR service—workflow management, dispatching, scheduling, and ensuring repair accuracy and quality.

Maintain consistent CDJR‑aligned service processes, warranty procedures, and factory guidelines to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Manage department financials, including budgeting, expense control, and forecasting.

Partner closely with Parts, Sales, and BDC teams to create a seamless customer experience across the dealership.

Monitor key performance metrics—including labor hours, RO count, effective labor rate, warranty performance, and CSI scores—and take action on areas of opportunity.

Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.

Ensure all safety, compliance, and quality standards are met in line with CDJR and Cable Dahmer expectations.

Be a visible, engaged leader in the service drive—supporting advisors, interacting with customers, and reinforcing our commitment to exceptional service.

Qualifications

Proven success leading a high‑volume automotive service department—CDJR or domestic brand experience strongly preferred.

Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands‑on, coaching‑driven approach.

Solid understanding of departmental financials and P&L performance.

Commitment to continuous improvement and a process‑focused mindset.

High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer focus.
