Schroeder & Tremayne, Inc. is a family‑owned, consumer products company that creates innovative solutions to everyday dilemmas! We design, develop, market, and distribute our product lines to some of the largest retailers around the world. Our product collections center around home & housewares, impulse, pet, health & beauty, and automotive appearance accessories. We own two brands: S&T INC. and VIKING Car Care. This position will be working on the Viking Car Care team.
What You Will Be Doing The Product Manager is responsible for identifying, creating, and launching new products into traditional and ecommerce retail channels as well as helping to extend the lifecycle of the current SKU portfolio. You will need to be socially aware of what is happening both on and offline in consumer products. You will work with the other product managers and members of other departments within the organization. We believe teamwork makes the dream work and pride ourselves in providing an exciting, dynamic, and collaborative work environment.
Champion various development processes such as but not limited to: trend and market research, competitive landscape analysis, viability assessments, and intellectual property searches
Connect with our sourcing team to build, obtain, and document product costing, specifications, and testing requirements
Prepare and present proper assets for customer line reviews and key account calls such as but not limited to: sku rationalization analysis, market and trend data, cost analysis, product samples, and presentation decks.
Engage with members of our supply chain to develop and keep a launch schedule
Catalog and maintain all relevant new product information
Collaborate with our social media and digital content teams to create engaging marketing assets
Develop a rapport with fellow associates in the St. Louis office, Shanghai office, and our contract manufacturers
Champion ad‑hoc projects as necessary
15% travel (domestic and international)
Qualifications and Skills
BS/BA in Marketing, Business, or equivalent field
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in product development, marketing, account management, or project management
Ability to show up with an entrepreneurial spirit, roll‑up‑your‑sleeves attitude, and have a flexible mindset to achieve business objectives
Solid financial and business acumen and ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously
