Executive Assistant II – Special Projects
Provide dynamic, proactive support on a variety of strategic projects and initiatives, reporting to the VP of Communications and supporting the Chairwoman of the Board. Deliver key strategic initiatives, executive-level support, and communications.
Responsibilities
Support special initiatives for the Chairwoman of the Board, including project management, research, business plan development, presentation materials, SharePoint management, and talking points.
Collaborate closely with the Washington, D.C. Office to support legislative initiatives and meetings for the Chairwoman of the Board and CEO.
Ensure the Chairwoman of the Board is prepared for VIP meetings and events, coordinating VIP event briefs.
Provide backup administrative support for the Executive Office as needed.
Qualifications – Must Have
B.A. (or equivalent degree) with 3 years of relevant work experience, or H.S. Diploma with 4 years of relevant work experience.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, and SharePoint.
Dynamic, initiative-driven, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Extensive organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficient communication skills.
Judgment to interpret guidelines and apply to individual situations.
Ability to solve moderate scope problems and contribute to projects and goals.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a DOD environment and familiarity with JTR and FCG.
Experience with Concur Travel and Expense platform or other travel management system.
Proven interpersonal communication skills with personnel at all levels, including foreign and military officials.
Experience in executive-level project management, stakeholder engagement, and communications in a corporate environment.
Intellectual curiosity and ability to drive things forward with little to no direction.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
Exceptional organization and prioritization skills; operates with a sense of urgency.
Strong project management experience; ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Self‑starter and independent thinker with exceptional communication skills.
Trustworthiness and discretion with confidential matters.
Ability to thrive and adapt in a dynamic environment.
