This role involves preparing amazing and nourishing meals for our guests and ensuring the highest quality standards of food service and the best culinary experience at all times. The cook works closely with the Executive Chef to create and review menus, prepare food, and ensure meals are prepared in accordance with established portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and policies.
You will earn: $16.35 per hour base wages!

Scheduling:
Part Time – all shifts include rotating weekends & some holidays
Shift Schedule: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM (Afternoon Shift)
Responsibilities:
Prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations
Coordinate food production to coincide with meal serving times ensuring excellence in quality, temperature, and appearance
Assist with tray line setup and plate assembly
Assist with daily cleaning requirements in the kitchen
Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
ServSafe certified
Basic computer skills
At least 2 years of related food experience, preferably supervisory in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other medical facility, with strong knowledge of food procedures
Excellent customer service skills and commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, innovative care
Team player dedicated to supporting the team and getting the job done
Location: Saginaw, MI.
