Job Description
SSM Health is seeking a Child & Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our highly collaborative and well-established Behavioral Health team in Madison, Wisconsin. This is an exceptional opportunity to build a rewarding outpatient practice with flexibility, strong system support, and a team culture that clinicians appreciate.
Our Behavioral Health department includes:
12 Psychiatrists (10 adult/child psychiatrists and 6 APNPs)
35+ Psychotherapists (Master's Therapists and Psychologists)
A supportive, multidisciplinary environment designed for excellent patient care
Position Highlights:
4–5 day flexible workweek (full-time)
32 patient contact hours (full?-ime)
Flexible FTE: 80–100%
No nightly call; Telepsych covers 5 p.m.–8 a.m.
Hybrid model with in-person and virtual options
Night call rotation every 16–18 days (primarily weeknights)
Rotational weekend inpatient rounding with additional stipend
Outreach opportunities available

Medication?management?focused outpatient practice
Dedicated Child & Adolescent patient population
Requirements:
M.D. or D.O.
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
Fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
Active and unrestricted WI license (or eligibility)
Active and unrestricted DEA
