Advanced Practice Provider NP PA - Trauma Surgery Ascension Seton is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our Trauma Surgery Department at Ascension Seton Medical Center Williamson in Round Rock, TX.

Schedule: PRN - 12‑hour shifts (7 p.m.–7 a.m.), nights and weekends

EMR System: Cerner/Compass

Hospital: Ascension Seton Medical Center Williamson

Location: Round Rock, TX

Position Highlights

Acute Care Certification – strongly preferred

Patient population 15 years and up

2+ years of Trauma experience as an APP – strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Obtain patient history and perform assessment; order, perform, and interpret diagnostic procedures.

Provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions.

Provide counseling and education to patients and their families/caregivers regarding preventative health, treatment options, and community resources.

Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations, and care.

Licensure / Certification / Registration Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 30 days of hire date.

Licensed Physician Assistant credentialed from the Texas Medical Board.

Certified Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Advanced Life Support preferred.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Master’s degree preferred.

Work Experience

1 year of experience preferred.
