About The Role The Maintenance Mechanical Technician installs and maintains facility equipment and machinery to maintain required production levels under minimal supervision.
Note: This position is for 2nd Shift. Hours for this role are Monday‑Friday 2 pm – 10:30 pm.
What You’ll Do
Possess the skills and knowledge of the Maintenance Mechanic position.
Program Variable Frequency Drives or servo motor drives.
Follow all company safety rules and regulations, including LOTO, and wear all required PPE.
Troubleshoot PLC programs and robotics.
Read and understand maintenance work orders.
Accurately perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly preventative maintenance on plant equipment and machinery as required per established PM programs and complete required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
Mentor and/or train existing and/or new maintenance employees.
Relieve other employees during breaks, absenteeism, vacation, or other production requirements.
Maintain good housekeeping and follow established safety protocols.
Work in a team environment, including relieving other associates during breaks or production needs.
Perform any other duties as assigned or directed by the Team Leader / Supervisor.
Follow all company guidelines as stated in the Associates Handbook and Safety Manual.
Maintain awareness of individual contribution to quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies; report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.
Additional Expectations
Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies, including the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
Ensure all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, laws, regulations, and market demands.
Be responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
Raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistleblower service.
What You’ll Bring
High School Diploma or GED required.
Certification or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical field.
Four years’ prior maintenance experience required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, or crouch for at least an 8‑hour shift.
Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment, or parts and work near moving mechanical parts.
Ability to accurately use, read, and understand various precision instruments including meters, megers, and oscilloscopes.
Knowledge of current OSHA, NEC, and ANSI standards.
Working knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives.
Computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment with accuracy and integrity.
Able to work in a team environment and interface with a diverse workforce.
