Position Summary: We are seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) with 2+ years of relevant experience to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to commercial insurance clients by managing policies, processing endorsements, and handling inquiries efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of commercial insurance products, and the ability to work collaboratively with producers, underwriters, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone and email
Assist clients with policy changes and general insurance questions
Process new business submissions, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations
Review and verify policy documents for accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory standards
Collaborate with producers, underwriters, and other internal teams to facilitate smooth policy administration and timely updates
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all client interactions and policy changes within the agency system
Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and support initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and retention
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required: college degree a plus
2+ years of experience in insurance in a customer service‑related role preferred
Knowledge of commercial insurance products (e.g., general liability, commercial property, workers’ compensation) preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new software
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast‑paced environment
