Player/Coach Sales Manager One of our long-standing consulting clients is expanding a rapidly growing

Zscaler-focused cybersecurity practice

and is seeking a Player/Coach Sales Manager who can both

sell and lead . This organization has more than 20 years of experience in security software implementation and is known for exceptional consultant quality, retention, and delivery excellence.

This role is ideal for a high-performing

Zscaler or Zero Trust/SASE seller

who is ready to take the next step into leadership. You will initially act as a

hands‑on seller

while providing

day‑to‑day coaching and guidance

to two existing sales representatives. As the practice scales, this role will transition into a

full sales management position .

What You Will Do

Own full‑cycle sales execution for Zscaler‑based and Zero Trust/SASE cybersecurity services solutions

Lead, mentor, and support two existing sales representatives while personally carrying quota

Build a scalable sales playbook and pipeline strategy to expand nationally

Partner directly with executive leadership to shape GTM, forecasting, and long‑term territory design

Represent the practice in enterprise conversations, driving credibility and trust

Foster relationships with channel, reseller, and technology partners within the Zscaler ecosystem

Transition into a full management role once the practice reaches maturity and targets

What We’re Looking For

Required:

Direct experience selling Zscaler solutions (ZIA, ZPA, Zero Trust Exchange, Zero Trust Branch, or related Zero Trust/SASE offerings)

Proven success as a

quota‑carrying Account Executive

in cybersecurity SaaS

Demonstrated experience mentoring or coaching junior reps (formal or informal)

Strong pipeline discipline and ability to build predictable revenue motion

Consultative selling skills and familiarity with enterprise security environments

Competitive, self‑directed, and highly collaborative mindset

Ability to grow into a leadership role as the practice scales nationally

Compensation

Base salary:

$150,000 (negotiable based on experience)

On‑target earnings:

$320,000 at plan (initial structure)

Strong upside potential as practice grows

Location: Dallas‑Fort Worth Metroplex
