We are seeking a dedicated and career-driven Southern Regional Manager to join a highly respected, family owned national disaster response company and lead operations across our offices in Jacksonville, Orlando, Paris, TN, and Memphis, TN. This position offers a unique opportunity for a stable candidate with strong leadership skills to make a significant impact in the disaster restoration services industry.

This role is key part of our continued success due to the direct impact it has on a large portion of our operations. This highly compensated position offers a starting salary of

$120,000 to $150,000

based on experience, with

uncapped commission potential , where on-target earnings (OTE) are projected between

$200,000 and $250,000 .

Leadership & Team Development

Serve as the primary leadership support resource for Southern office managers and teams.

Coach, mentor, and develop staff to strengthen culture, accountability, communication, and customer service.

Ensure teams understand and adhere to SOPs, performance expectations, and company values.

Support onboarding and training efforts while reinforcing a culture of teamwork, transparency, and respect.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

Regularly meet with key clients, adjusters, facility leaders, and strategic partners to build trust and ensure satisfaction.

Proactively monitor active projects to identify potential issues and elevate promptly when required.

Respond to customer and partner concerns in a timely, professional manner; non-responsiveness is not acceptable.

Represent the company at regional client visits, industry events, and business development meetings.

Business Growth & Market Expansion

Identify and pursue opportunities to grow revenue across commercial, residential, TPA, and targeted vertical markets.

Analyze local markets to recommend new services, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.

Track lead sources and support marketing initiatives to increase brand visibility within each office’s territory.

Partner with leadership to develop and execute territory growth plans.

Monitor job profitability across all Southern offices to ensure efficient and profitable operations.

Review estimates, scopes, and job costing for accuracy and margin protection.

Identify and address revenue leakage, documentation gaps, and operational inefficiencies.

Provide regular financial updates to senior leadership and collaborate on action plans for improvement.

Operational Support (in Partnership with Operations Manager)

Support the Operations Manager in maintaining strong field execution and service levels across Southern offices.

Serve as a secondary escalation point for complex projects, staffing challenges, and workflow bottlenecks.

Ensure project managers and mitigation teams adhere to SOPs, timelines, customer-care standards, and documentation requirements.

Assist with resource planning and inter-office coordination during CAT events and high-volume periods.

Communication & Reporting

Provide consistent written and verbal updates to leadership on office performance trends, risks, successes, and needs.

Conduct regular site visits and scheduled check-ins with each Southern office.

Maintain alignment and transparency with the COO and Operations Manager regarding regional performance and priorities.

Qualifications & Experience

5+ years of leadership experience in restoration, construction, operations, or a related field.

Demonstrated strength in client-facing interactions and relationship management.

Proven ability to manage multiple offices, teams, or regions.

Solid understanding of job costing, profitability tracking, and key financial performance metrics.

Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to travel regularly between Southern offices and job sites.

Ability to travel for CAT events.

Ability to travel to marketing and business development events.

Requirements

Proven leadership experience in operations management, preferably in the disaster restoration or related industry (5 years plus).

Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial performance and operational efficiency.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building and maintaining professional relationships.

Ability to travel as required, particularly for on-site assessments and team support.

The requirements are to have at least 5 years of experience in restoration operations and leadership with a proven track record of profitable growth. Candidates must have extensive emergency response and/or large loss and catastrophe experience. Must be able to attend Business Development networking functions and have good command of Microsoft Office skills, Xactimate or other estimating software preferred. We are looking for someone who has strong written and verbal communication skills, strong knowledge of project management, and financial processes. OSHA, IICRC and RIA certification are preferred.
